How to be constantly filled with God's love?

Prior to encountering the Lord, the lives of people could be filled with much pain and suffering. But after turning to God, we become different people: strong, happy, joyful etc.

God gives what no one can give, and others can not take away what God gives. God gives us the power to forgive; He heals all our wounds; and He turns our past pain and shame into His power and glory. God fills up the gaps in our life we had before encountering Him. He presents His love, protection, security and real victory.

It is vitally important to share God's love with the people around us. The world will be filled with God’s love more and more through it. While we will be "emptying" ourselves, and people will be filling up with God's love through us. God in His turn will fill us with His love as well. His love is enough for everyone, and it never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8).

If we really want to pass God’s love to people, we will surely gain it. But, in order to build up the relationships of love, we need to make certain efforts. Even if, for some reason, we do not experience God's love, we still can pass it to others through our good deeds, care, support and compassion for people. When we act like that, our hearts are open toward God and we become able to accept His love.

If there are difficulties in the relationships with people in our life, our position and our choice determine the way out of it. We are always able to choose to forgive or not, to love or not. Whatever the situation is in our lives we always should choose love. By choosing love, we can always restore broken relationships with people.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and the statement that God is different in the Old and New Testaments contradicts the Scripture. Parents may punish their children for disobeying, and God can be severe if we are disobedient. This is what we should remember and to be obedient to God in all things.
